Hey all, so I'm 21, in my final year of a Bachelor in Biomed and live a pretty chilled life on the gold coast- taking advantage of the life of a student. Haven't been on here in a while, but I like to use this site to get some interesting perspectives on current issues & to analyse my own thoughts on things... I also like talking with rational & educated (easygoing) people, so feel free to say hi :)

hey, im sposed to be doing uni work right now but i wasted some time on facebook. i added you on there too, just in case you were wondering who the hell the guy from sydney was asking to be your friend. anyway take it easy.
Haha i used to teach sunday school, the whole nine yards but i found as i was trying to explain to these 9 year old kids why they should accept what the bible has to say i started to ask similar questions. Everyone is born an atheist and it was these little kids that gave me the skeptical slap around the head (even though they didn't mean to).
did you find that youthgroup or what ever activities that the church had for teenagers seemed to make it really easy for a person to fall into the pre-formed social networks/'community' that all teens want to find? the hardest thing i found coming out of the religious closet was that i had to almost go out on my own, break away from all these people that were really friends of convenience not substance in order to learn the truth behind their teachings. For the love of god don't question the bible at youth group...you may as well have the plague! anyway i've gotta go and do a tutorial presentation for urban geography...this is my procrastination outlet. peace
