I believe that government of and by the people is not necessarily synonymous with government for the people. We don't usually know much at all about the representatives we choose, and we don't understand most of the issues they vote on. The language of bills is written by people trained in law; it is not a language most Americans can easily understand.I believe that even if we did have a government that worked for the people, it would be a disaster. The people want everything without paying for…See More

Don’t Christians ever wonder why the Apostles struggled so long in recognizing Jesus as God?  Hmmm.  In Mark, Matthew, and Luke, they never do.  They keep falling down, saying things like, “Jeez, we’re gonna get caught!” or “How in the world did you do that, man?”Either they were the dumbest people on the planet at the time, or they were really good actors. If they didn’t feel…See More

About Me:
Love elm trees and reading. Can't stand Christians, but Muslims run a close second. Jews are simply hopeless: any group that claims to worship a god that promised to protect them in exchange for worship yet allowed Auschwitz to happen is a group that needs a little wake-up call. I am an elementary school teacher, amateur radio operator, and I love learning languages. Fluent in German, somewhat less so in Russian. Studying Latin and Mohawk now.
