All women need to know how to do to attract a guy is this : 1. Be attractive 2. Be attractive 3. Show interest. Be obvious.

BTW, I find it hilarious how all the older guys are trying to talk you into dating older guys.

I don't think that "age" itself is the thing but rather a certain look and sophistication. Simply being an older woman won't matter unless the woman is attractive in the first place. In my opinion it is the allure of…

They just have to know how to put it all aside. People can have a lot in common even if one is not religious and another is a Christian.

Using someone's Atheism as a basis for dating them is...absurd. Certainly, incorporating religious opinions as an aspect of a relationship makes sense...but two people being atheists doesn't guarantee they will ever get along. It is…

Discussing religion is hard

Posted on November 9, 2009 at 8:24pm 12 Comments

I love to discuss religion, especially with religious people, however I am finding it harder and harder to actually have religious discussions with people. It seems like most people just don't care one way or the either, regardless of how they define themselves. They seem to want to avoid discussion at all costs, and when the topic is brought up they want to change it immediately. So for the most part I simply avoid bringing it up anymore.

I also find it boring discussing religion… Continue

Absolutely. I would love to find out why this discrepancy exists. Are some people actually more "prone" to be religious than are others? Wow. I have never heard of that book- I should put it on my Christmas list!

Hey, whoever said you had to know exactly what you'd like to major in as soon as you get to college? Now you have the freedom to explore many fields, and eventually you will discover something you love. By the way, the only way you'll know if you're fit for the physical sciences is if you try : ). So go for it!

Ever since I began studying psychology, I have been fascinated by both the anatomy and the mechanics of the human brain. I'm particularly interested in clinical populations, such as schizophrenic individuals and individuals with autism. I also have a passion for psychopharmacology, but I am not talented enough at chemistry to pursue that!

Actually, you could say this has to do with my identity as an atheist. I would actually love to be a pioneering researcher in the field of religion in the brain. I have reviewed research in this area, and I would love to contribute to it :).

As for what I would like to do, I would ideally love to do all of the above: to work with clinical as well as normal populations, and to study the origins of religion in brain circuitry. Maybe I can accomplish all of that : ). I plan on being in the field for a long time!

So how about you, Ecce?
