Mrina said… - hey Dylan! Glad you moved from CSU to UCB! I grew up in Boulder, did high school and college there and my parents still live there. So I am quite partial to UCB :)
Oh I loved the EEB department, too. So many cool people there! I worked in Yan Linhart's lab doing 3 yrs of undergrad research, but now he's retired and in California. His lab used to be right next to Dr. Jeff Mitton's lab on the 200 level of Ramaley.
After UCB I also got my master's at CU's Medical School in Aurora CO, int he biomedical sciences. I lived in Denver for 4 years during that time and while working and loved it.
My current grad degree is microbial ecology of polar oceans. I am at the University of Delaware. It's a tiny campus and a big change from what I am used to but I love my advisor and research and that is what matters! Sorry to ramble on though, so nice to see an EEB person :) Still consider myself a Boulderite in many ways. When are you planning to graduate?
