Book review of "Is God A Moral Monster"

When asked, I said I would read the temperature and pressures off of my gauges. The people who knew nothing about what I said ended my interview there. Then at an Operating Engineers Interview for acceptance into that prestige training program (to learn to operate earth moving equipment- I have a tractor trailer license) I was asked "Does your mother still ware all those buttons?" ...by an African American woman interviewer.
(At 80, mom is still ethnically militant and at times confrontational.The 60's?) My answer: "Yes, but she's got a Masters of Human services Degree from Lincoln University NOW"! (I helped her achieve it, by teaching her how to save her papers and revisions to floppy disk. I build PCs.) At this point, the African American H.R. Official who co-presided over my interview barked "That will be all"!
Having honorably defended my kin, (and Country (USAF) I then concluded Self employment, Self education etc- how ever humble is BEST for someone of my intellectual capacity. The theocratic thought police Nazis who can only offer me their version of Jones Town eat my dust!

I'm not in the Water Cooler group (and don't want to join another one), but to your question: The fundies don't have an explanation. They just make crap up as they go along, and accept whatever supports their confirmation bias. I didn't know about homosexuality either, but I knew I was gay all my life, even before I had a word for it. I never liked girls.

- For my sins in the RAAF one of my postings had a USAF Major as my CO. It was a crap posting made bearable by his humour.
I also worked for a USAF Lieutenant Colonel Doctor who was just amazing I learned a LOT from him
