Having honorably defended my kin, (and Country (USAF) I then concluded Self employment, Self education etc- how ever humble is BEST for someone of my intellectual capacity. The theocratic thought police Nazis who can only offer me their version of Jones Town eat my dust!

I'm not in the Water Cooler group (and don't want to join another one), but to your question: The fundies don't have an explanation. They just make crap up as they go along, and accept whatever supports their confirmation bias. I didn't know about homosexuality either, but I knew I was gay all my life, even before I had a word for it. I never liked girls.
