I wonder if there's a way to program my CPC 8 to automatically track the International Space Station? I'd have to hook it up to a computer I'm sure, but there should be a way to do this. I'll try to look into it.
The variety of people here is amazing! I hope we can keep this organization together and keep it growing. I am open to Christians attending, but at least one exclusively atheist meeting per month should be considered.

I became uncertain about the existence of God in my late teens when I began to doubt the existence of the human soul. A wealth of data convinced me that evolution by natural selection was responsible for the diversity of life on earth. There is a continuum of living things from bacteria to humans. If other living things do not have souls then isn't it a bit arrogant to think that we do?
I considered myself an "agnostic" until I read George H. Smith's "Atheism: the Case Against God." Smith neatly devastates the classical arguments for God's existence. But before doing this, Smith lays the ground rules of needing to understand what the term "God" means, what knowledge is, and, finally, the importance of the truth.
Today, in my fifties, I do not believe that God or any supernatural entities exist. If anyone has proof that he or they do exist, I would love to see it.
