Just got an email from Fred Nile. I'm pretty sure he's suffering under the delusion that I'm religious. :)

Thank you for your email regarding retaining Scripture in schools and for continuing in prayer with us…
@Fred, taking metaphor too far would be wrong. Not everything is metaphor. How far you take things literally is the same. It can be taken too far. One thing you will find in the Buddha's teaching is to be moderate in all things. That is one…
@Fred, your questions are good ones. They deserve much more than a cursory answer, but I am unable to give you that in such a small space, soooo...
No, mind cannot exist without body as far as we know. Body can exist without mind. It won't be…
@stephen I know what you mean. As Buddhism moved north out of India and through other cultures it picked up a lot of local beliefs etc. Everyone seems to think that Tibet was always Buddhist, but it wasn't. It was way into Animism and not a…
Maybe anyone that wants to make statements about certain topics should study the real thing first before making up their minds and mislabeling it. Putting everyone into one category based on a misunderstanding of what Buddhism actually is, is wrong.…

It's much more about content creation rather than the discussion forum format which can result in more blah blah blah than independent thought and creative energy. So I'm thankful for AFA for at least leading me to discover Atheist Nexus.
Hiello Distro Man. Welcome to this friendly meeting place
where we recognise that all gods are phoney and religion is a great fraud used to control people; and how it is tragic and inexcusable that women and minorities have been oppressed these last two thousand years.
