- About Me
- I have been an Atheist for over 20 years. I believe religion was created by humans, plain and simple. I believe, when I die, I will cease to exist except in the memory of friends and family. I believe religion is evil, but I know that some people have a need, like any other need, to believe in some higher being. I just wish they would not try and push those needs on others. I don't have the need to have life or the universe explained to me by some higher being. I believe in science and rational thought. For being an athiest, I have been told I was going to hell, I was told that I could not possibly be happy, that I am anarchist, that it was sad that I did not have god in my heart. Well, I just laugh at them all. I have the freedom to make my own choices to do anything in the universe that I so choose. I don't need a higher being to tell me to be good, to love one another. I do all those things and more, because it feels good and because I want to. Plain and simple. Be human, don't be a puppet.
