David L. Reeves replied to David L. Reeves's discussion Steven Moffat in the group TARDIS
"Tennant was a genius. No denying that, but Russel T. Davies had some weak spots. I actually thought to post this because of the 4th season of Coupling. That first episode so was so brilliantly written. It was like a symphony of brilliantly complex…"

Leslee Love replied to David L. Reeves's discussion Steven Moffat in the group TARDIS
"I'm excited about this new series...the new doctor and Moffat--He's brilliant and I think Matt Smith looks amazing, energetic and fun! I think we're all pretty excited about it, but I won't speak for everyone! RTD was looking…"

"Completely off topic. A single "disgruntled hacker" could also be used as a great example. No matter what "the man" (define that as loosely as you want, governments, corporations, whatever really) does to control people, a…"

David L. Reeves replied to Leslee Love's discussion First Daleks in the group TARDIS
"To be simple: I think the Dalek's are too iconic to change, physically at least. There certainly has been some character evolution, like stairs no longer being their greatest weakness."

Steven Moffat

As we probably all know Steven Moffat is taking over for Russel T. Davies as the lead writer and executive producer. I've noticed there's been a lot of talk about Matt Smith, but to be honest, I think the Doctor is only as good as the plotline allows, so... I'm offering up a discussion about that.Steven Moffat's writing credits include some of the best episodes of the new series, most notably "Blink," and the two-part River Song story (for lack of a better title). He also served as head writer…See More

David L. Reeves replied to Diaddy_lil_Freethinker's discussion Great Now I have to watch my back... hahaha
"Hmmm... That's tough. My mother has never been very religious, and thankfully figured out my lack of religion long before she discovered facebook. I simply outlined my beliefs to her, how the reality is far more beautiful than the fiction, and…"

About Me
"I have worshiped many gods and believed in none."

I am an expert on Theoretical Politics and semi-professional speculative fiction writer, currently working on a full length novel (at which point I suppose it becomes a profession)...

Now some random factoids:
*I believe someday we will realize how interconnected everything is.
*I'm still waiting for that theory of everything those pesky physicists keep talking about.
*I find modern psychology unnecessarily isolated and unscientific.
*I like to tell people the Quran is "like the Bible, only better" (and for the most part that is true).
*I smoke cigarettes. I think I have that choice.
*Americans waste at least 78,000 pounds of unprocessed meat every day.
*I think David Deutsch is my new favorite person.
