How much is evolution understood/supported in your school?

My school seems to be completely ignorant of evolution. When asked how life is the way it is right now, quite some people respond by saying: God created us. On the other hand, those who supports evolution knows of it as "A theory that says we evolve from monkeys". That's very disappointing. As far as I know, I'm the only that cared to do some research on evolution.So what about you? Does your school support or reject evolution? Or are they completely ignorant about it?See More
