Catholics Living in God's Light.

More reasons to get rid of religion

It has always been asserted that illicit sex has been going on among the religious body of the Catholic Church. Besides the known priest sexual abuse of young boys, charges of Nuns having sex with priest, priest having sex with priest and Nuns having sex with Nuns have always been put forth. Are these charges real or just allegations? Well, a former Nun tells her story, “which details illicit relationships, sexual harassment and bullying in the convContinue

Gender divide in Hell

Here is a good one, according to the Vatican man and women commit different sins.

“Men are more likely to commit lustful sins while women are led down the path of pride, according to a Vatican report carried out by the Pope's personal theologian.”

Does that mean there is different intensity of punishment and separate sections for the genders in "Hell"?

"Faith Healing," a Suicidal Path:

Think about it, Christians or most Christians I should say, staunchly support the protection of a fetus, arguing that it is a child just not yet born. Like wise, their stands against arbitration are planted firmly in the individual right to life. On the other hand, their protection of children after birth seems to disappear. For example, the case of innocent 11-year-old Kara Neumann of Weston, who after the parents, both followers of the Unleavened Bread Ministries, refuse to give their daughter… Continue

What’s different about the “new age" movement?

Bizarre secret cult ripping families apart

“About 20 people have become devotees of a New Age "healer'', Matthew Meinck, who owns a retreat property in Chittering Valley. Meinck, an Australian-born former monk, believes that people retain in their bodies memories of abuse that can be retrieved during intense deep-tissue massage, regressive therapy and gruelling meditation sessions lasting up to two weeks.” However, “During long retreats at the property, they became convinced thContinue

Reasons to eliminate religion.

Sorry, but I have to vent for a minute, OK; for hundreds of years indigenous people and their culture have seen extreme brutality from Muslim and Allah, Jews/Christians and God/Jesus. In fact, for those of us who have read-up on history knows that the justifications for enslaving and brutalizing these people was that "they were not Christians or "saved" and we, the good God/Jesus loving colonialists, must convert these pagans to Christ."

Also, who, except… Continue

Greetings to you Grenadian freethinker, It's with the deepest of regards that i accept you as a friend. I enjoy reading your blogs bigtime. Keep up the good works doing what you are doing. I will try my best to keep up with the daunting task of exposing the religious hypocracy being perpertrated none stop by the holy rolling death machine called religious extremism.
Most of us Islanders purport to be rough and tough bad bwoys, ready to blow way any and everything that threaten our fragile overblown egos, but come up soft when it comes to beatin' back the real enemy, which is, and always was organized religion...That destroyed Africa and the entire world wide black diaspora. We continue to kiss and worship the slave master's evil ass, end over end none stop, without shame 24/7... No end in sight. Have mercy y'all.

It is refreshing to know that not all West Indians continue to be brain washed religious nuts...Far too many are for my taste.
I was born on the Island of St. Kitts and moved to Antigua when I was about nine or ten years old. It was in Antigua that I experienced the mother load of forced religious brainwashing. Threatened by violence if one should refuse to comply or go along with the psychological, mental and sometimes physical abuse that was forced upon you at such a young age, into believing in the monster fairy tale (Christian religious dogma)... You had no choice but to comply.
I finally got away from the wholesale abuse during my mid-teen years, and never looked back since...LIBERATION!!!!
It's so sad that we Island people continue to subject our youth to such severe mental and physical abuse, trying to appease our white slave master into believing the big lie that he is God... Rational critical thinking is the answer. Religion is all smoke and mirrors.

Thanks for the welcome. Great to see your efforts on Grenada, hope you can get a movement going there. You can also check out the blog I recently started, speaks a bit about my loss of faith and Christianity in the Barbadian context.

Tua. Hotep! The modern day Hyksos and their henchmen still continue to invade indigenous peoples' lands, savagely take away the native's language, land, culture, artifacts, scriptures and leave them with the Christian or Muslim god or any other religion and then take on the identity of the natives; claiming to be who they are not. Taking artifacts and displaying them in their museums all throughout the world and lying about the true descendants of these indigenous peoples and artifacts. The Arabs of so-called "North Africa" of today are not indigenous to Africa. Christianity and Islam as we know them today are not indigenous to Africa. Just because a group of people come to conspire to keep a certain people from their heritage by revisionist history, doesn't mean that all of the people who are being conspired against will forget their past. The foreign legions of Arabs did not contribute anything of greatness to Egypt. The Arab can never dream to replicate the greatness of ancient Egypt. Somethings shall remain eternal even if others try to conceal what they know to be true. I will continue to seek truth in the Universe. Triple Darkness!!!

Hotep! I agree that kemet ( Egypt was the first civilization and it's inhabitants were most definately black. The Hyksos invaded under the pharoh kufu. Science proves that no color can produce black yet in black exist all color meaning black is first. You can study the colors in a prism and prove this. It is impossible for a darker skin to be secondary. Even the religious people should agree. " let there be light" infers that darkness comes first.

From the article Tommy cited. "However, religious commentators have criticized Hawking's theorizing, saying he can never hope to explain what is essentially unexplainable." Well doesn't that kind of invalidate their own "god" theory then? ;p
