Another update on the debate with my religous friend and other things

Hello all, Sorry I haven’t updated in a while. I’m a big creature of habit so if I don’t regularly go to a site then I almost never visit it. Anyway, I have a lot of updates on the debate/discussion with my religious friend front:1. For future reference for anyone debating a believer: realize that both are you are coming in with assumptions. Probably very different assumptions which are some of the reasons why you guys have come to very different answers. My friend for instance, seems to take…See More

About Me
Okay then, well I have been usually described as polite, very calm, very quiet, forgetful, and a very nice person but on the other hand I can hold a grudge sometimes. Usually I follow the rule "hope for the best, prepare for the worst" although I usually find myself doing the "prepare for the worst" a bit more than the "hope for the best". I have my very serious moments and I have very goofy moments. People often say that I'm determined. Most people consider me very mature but others say the exact opposite (I'll admit I have my moments). I like to read, play video games, play go (a recent development, I suck at it but I like it anyway) sing, throw shot-put and discus in track and field (although I can spring fairly well in spite of my size), act, listen to music, write (at times), and work out.

Well, I just wanted to go ahead and use this time to talk about things that have been happening in my life recently that relate to atheism/religion/skepticism/etc:

1. I have a very religious friend who I'm very close to and we tend to debate the topic of religion frequently (strangely enough, our discussions are why we are so close). Right now, we are discussing morality because somehow we got to the question of what I would say to the Christian god if I…

Greetings, Constance! I'd like to invite you to a group where we talk about anything on our minds, Hang With Friends. :D

Welcome to AN Constance!! :)

Remember you always have like minded friends here, and you can message me anytime. Remember not all of your friends and family will accept your atheism, but some will. Those who "just cannot handle it" you might slowly lose them, whereas others might try to "save you" and bring you back to theism. In any case stick to what you know to be right and stay strong.
