I love MSU!! They didn't do that bad this year, I mean, they didn't win the tournament, but for having their best player injured they were still able to go a long was. And now that Izzo is staying and we still have a lot of the same players, we will have a very good chance this next year! Loving MSU of course means I hate UofM....but they've usualy got football covered, so college sports aren't too bad in our state. Also, we have the Red Wings! Other than that though, we don't have much goign for us :-p Yeah, my friend was telling me that there was a pretty shady area in Denver that is a lot like Detroit...at least it's not most of the city though! I've never heard of that artist you mentioned, what kind of music does he do (I'm too lazy to google right now)?
Yeah we had snow when I was visiting my mom for mothers day weekend a few weeks ago, but ususally the snow is over by the beginning of June. I'm suprised you've been in Detroit and you aren't scared of MI. I assume you never left the airport then...haha. Detroit is one of the worst cities in the United States (that includes the sports teams :-p)! Not just for crime, but because it's such an eye sore with the abandoned building from the hundreds of thousands of people that have flocked out of the city over the past decade or so. Don't worry about not being near the ocean....BP would just ruin it for you anyways :-p We do have the gigantic fresh water Great Lakes, so I can't complain about not being near the ocean, especially since they don't drill for oil in the Great Lakes, so nobody is ruining our water! Problem is it gives us lake effect snow in the winter when the cold winds blow over the warm water and it's either snowing or cloudy most of the winter (close to the water anyways, not where I'm at now). Oh, and, who is the musician you speak of?
Oh...well...I guess MI isn't that bad. The winter is waaaay too long. It depends where you live too. I grew up in northern MI, where it is beautiful and they are plenty of lakes, but the closest city is miles away. Now I live in southern MI where you don't have to drive far to get what you need, but it's ugly. I was planning on going out to Denver to visit my friend, but plans changed when he decided to move back. From what he's told me, Denver sounds a much better place to live. Boulder is one of the colleges I was looking at and I wish I would've gone there! Ever been to MI? If not, whats the closest you've been?
