There's a blog on here? This is quite like myspace, isn't it? Only less moronic. Hmm.

Is there a way of searching members of this group by location?

Claire - I have several projects going, and an area I am pursuing is the LGBT Athiest community.  Do you have any books, publications, or research to recommend. Is there a bibliography out there somewhere?  I am especially interested in the process of coming out, and how that can be used for all atheists

Could you call your group "GLBTQI atheists and friends" instead of "Gay atheists"? Anyway, T from GLBTQ stands for trangender and it is different than gay (intersexed people don't even have a letter). Plus, I would be in the "friends" category. I don't like to enter in any group which doesn't represent me.

Hi Claire! I'm Kris - I host the Aussie/Kiwi group here on Nexus. I'm also the media and communications consultant for the forthcoming "Rise of Atheism" Global Atheist Convention to be held in Melbourne in March 2010. The Convention is being organized jointly by Atheist Alliance International and the Atheist Foundation of Australia.

I wonder if you could let your members know that tickets for the convention are now available online at the Convention website. We are expecting nearly 3,000 delegates, so this convention is going to be huge.

Confirmed speakers include: Richard Dawkins, AC Grayling, PZ Myers, Dan Barker, Peter Singer, Taslima Nasrin and many more.

Anything you can do to help us get the word out would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there-
What do you think about combining all of the GLBTQ groups into one? Any reason not to? Any Preference about who mediates? Which group should be "the" GLBTQ group?

Hi there,
I'm wondering if you have any thoughts on consolidating the A|N GLBTQ groups. Doesn't seem to be a lot of difference among them, some people are in at least 2 of the groups. Might be easier if we somehow combined them. Most likely that would involve leaving 2 groups in place but notices that all new postings should go to the remaining group. What do you think? Youir group actually has the largest # of members, so maybe they should consolidate with Gay Atheists. What do you think?

Hi. I just recently joined your group and this site, really. There are some great discussions going on which is refreshing living in a traditional, Catholic house. Well just wanted to say hello and HAPPY ASH WEDNESDAY! haha

Good to see that youre the 1st to create Gay atheists group. I am glad I did my group search and am hoping you will let me join the group. I also created a group of my own for people with HIV. I am hoping it will be approved by the A/N creator. And if it does, then I just hope we get members joining in! I would hate to be the only one, I know there are more people like me out there. But perhaps it is a matter of bravery and courage. I look forward to heartfelt feedbacks from A/N members!
