Last night I wrote a satirical blog entry that got a couple comments on it... seemingly positive, but then one commenter asked me if my post was supposed to be funny. I wrote that no one is supposed to take the post seriously. But now, it seems that my blog entry has been deleted for me. And I haven't been notified about it or warned. This past weekend I met up with a longtime friend, in fact, the lengthiest friend I have. In fact, the very first friend who I met in the United States, on my first day of school in this country. It's amazing that we still keep in touch even after 19 years and him moving to Atlanta, then me moving to Pittsburgh, then him moving to Boston, then me joining the Marine Corps, and yet we still think that keeping our friendship alive is worth a plane ticket or a 500 mile drive.
