The UAH Non-Theists and Ratio Christi are co-sponsoring a debate on the proposition “Is the Christian Faith Reasonable?” with Dr. David Marshall for the affirmative and Dr. Richard Carrier for the negative. This weekend I had a conversation with an Atheist at an informal local meetup that upset me and made me angry. The more I think about it, the angrier I got. What was said boiled down to an assertion that Atheists are hate-filled bigots. Funny thing, if a religious person had said it I wouldn’t be angry.

Yesterday embassies in Egypt and Libya attacked. Chris Stevens, the U.S. ambassador to Libya, was killed. Secretary of State Clinton said, "there is never any justification for violent acts of this kind." Why did this happen? Apparently a few found an amateurish video criticizing Islam and its prophet too much to bear.
I am not sure what would "fix" this, and I suppose no one does and everyone has their own idea. But I am certain that another war won't change anything.
