if you're apprehensive to "come out" to your family (for some it's not easy), there are many helpful books you can read on atheism to better understand the 'choice' you've made.
it also may be helpful to read books on positivity and on being moral without god.
and....... you've got us! we love to meet new people and you will find that everyone here is willing to help and give advice.
