Ruth Anthony-Gardner said… - Dig deep, Brian Wood. There has to be more to you than sneering and mocking. Give yourself credit for your strengths and develop them. When we get stuck in the sneering and mocking stage, we are still allowing others to be in control of our self esteem. It's like the bitter divorcé who has to keep laughing at his ex, because he's still hooked and can't let go, instead of getting on with his life. Whatever painful experience has made you stuck, can be figured out, and you can work your way out. You deserve to have a full life, self-actualized. To feel good about yourself instead of merely feeling "better than." I apologize if this is too intrusive, but I do care.
