Happy Halloween, it’s good to hear that you guys will be coming home soon, man I got to give you Army guys a lot of credit, you guys have some long ass deployments. The AF was doing 4 to 6 months, the last one we did was just under 5 and that really seemed long enough. We stopped off in Al Udeid on the way back and I got my first cup of wine after not drinking during the deployment and it just kicked my butt. Remember to take things slow, you’ve got time to enjoy the world again.
I work on Army fixed wing aircraft (the rotor wings are just scary). I spent a year in Balad and I'm just starting my year in Tikrit. Of course, it's much easier for us civvies.
Anyway, keep your ass down and your chin up. Talk to you later, Bro.
