- In my early years I had a very romantic mental depiction of the past and of a world under the dominion of a just and loving God. A place where enlightenment was found with another Sunday in a pew or another scripture read. As I began to better understand the natural world I realized how ambiguous bible teachings were and that the bible is just a text not the written word of God. Without the structure of Christianity I finally opened my mind to new and more relevant approaches to thinking.I had a personal renaissance which opened my mind to new styles of music, forms of media and a new stance on politics and foreign affairs. Currently I am aligning with Transcendentalist ideologies.
