So are religious conservatives like Glenn Beck or the Mormon Libertarians less libertarian? I mean they dish out and support anti-gay right activism for example and that in a sense infringes…Continue

Religious brain washing in the military?

I was wondering if current service members or family of service members have had their non theist beliefs ridiculed or have had to let them go for the sake of uniformity. I'm heading to basic training this autumn and I was just wondering.

About Me
In my early years I had a very romantic mental depiction of the past and of a world under the dominion of a just and loving God. A place where enlightenment was found with another Sunday in a pew or another scripture read. As I began to better understand the natural world I realized how ambiguous bible teachings were and that the bible is just a text not the written word of God. Without the structure of Christianity I finally opened my mind to new and more relevant approaches to thinking.I had a personal renaissance which opened my mind to new styles of music, forms of media and a new stance on politics and foreign affairs. Currently I am aligning with Transcendentalist ideologies.
