Anyone know of Atheist romance/erotic books or if there's a market for such? I have searched with zero luck. From what I can gather, there is none. If such a book were to be written and Atheist…Continue

Hello everyone

I just found this site the other day and was relieved. I live in Tennessee amidst enough churches that, when the end-o-days comes and everyone leaves in a twinkle, the silence should be deafening. I…Continue

My Highly religious doctor knows I'm an Atheist

A few years ago, I took a Cultural Identity class (required) that was based on religions. The point of the class was to explore one's religious identity and compare it to others while urging tolerance. It was not an easy class for me because I was the only non-believer in the midst of quite a few clerics (including the professor). Needless to say, I got into quite a few heated debates.Back to the point: The final consisted of interviewing someone outside of the student's religion before…See More

"Thanks. I've seen the movie and it was okay. From what I'm gathering through various research, publishers frown on targeting a specific religious audience when it comes to this genre."

About Me:
My name is Betty Dolphin. I am a romance fiction writer and editor (self-published and through a publisher) dealing in controversial topics. I'm blunt because I learned long ago that to keep my mouth shut meant I'd become a welcome mat for humanity's poo. I may cuss like a sailor but I'm tolerant of other's beliefs (to a point).

End of times...here we come!

I cannot wait for 12/21/12 to pass so everyone can shrug and go back to pounding pavement. My husband recommended blogging about it so, here we are. Tell me what you did today--don't care if it's laid in bed with the flu (which is where I've been for the past five) or whatever.

I had to go to the store to get throat lozenges for my 16 yr old, nite-time happy-wacky cough syrup, and ibuprofen. Later, I will be working on homework…

An Easter Joke

A bear and a bunny were shitting in the woods. The bear says to the bunny, "Do you ever have the problem of shit sticking to your fur?"

The bunny says, "No. I can't say that I do."

"Good," says the bear as he grabs the bunny and wipes his ass.

Welcome to Atheist Nexus. You will make many good friends here. As an atheist you recognise religion for the fraud that it is, and you join us on the intellectual high ground with hopefully a real feel-good factor---while the religious flounder, frightened by their own superstitions, on the brainless low ground.
