"It's warmer - and definitely wetter this year. Another severe storm during the night. Went out to check on bunnies and discovered tree limb broken, and am thankful that the wind didn't whip it around and cause damage to plants or house.…"

Barbara Livingston commented on Daniel W's group Godless in the garden
"Great pics Daniel.  I debated whether I wanted to drag my 12' ladder from garage to back yard and then climb up on it to pick the mulberries.  Decided "a taste" from branches I could reach was good enough - leaving remainder…"

"I wanted a native vine to plant on my patio. Something that might endure the heat and provide some greenery. I ordered them online and planted. They grew really well.  The actual seed in the pod has a fuzzy surface and I think that is why they…"

"I just planted a large patch of lemon balm - for me and as food for my bunnies.  Sighhh, and here you are saying it is ... "too weedy, not a well behaved volunteer".  I'm hoping I haven't created a runway in my garden.…"

"Chris, definitely a easy way to save water - I made pots for my patio using almost the same method, capturing water in the bottom and letting the plants self-water. Your method seems a whole lot simpler and easier than the way I did it. Daniel,…"

I really  could relate to you when reading  your reply  to Amanda Ashcrafts thread on Atheism......I am 66 and recently became  attracted  to Atheism...finding quite  a lot of diversity.....However we all do  agree that their is no god and that religion is mostly  based  on  fables and myths....Ever since I inquired about joining  the American Humanist Association, and read the book they sent  "Non Believer Nation" by David Niose, I knew that Atheism fit perfectly into  how I believed...It answered  most of my questions, and gave me peace of mind....It wasn't long before I discovered A/N and made lots of friends  with like  minded  people.....I look forward to your threads  and blogs, so we can share our views...

Thanks for the friend invitation. I used to do that, but didn't figure it had any particular value. It's just a nice thing to do, I suppose!
