It just occurred to me (while going all Tolstoy on a comment page) that my thoughts and words may be better suited here in Blogville, USA.

Anyway, Lent in south Louisiana (and other hardcore Christian areas) is hell for non-theists. The following is a quick list of the reasons why. Why a list? Because I'm a guy and guy's like lists and tournaments...that's why:

okay, so i'll admit i went out last night to watch monday night football specifically to root against the saints... though, your squad made the pats look really bad, like they shouldn't even be on the same field with them. granted, the pats run-game sucks. i'll be curious to see how the saints do against a quality run game like the vikings or dallas on the road not in that dome of yours. i think ya'll have that dome boobie trapped or somethin.

i know what you mean about being an atheist in this area.. i am not too far from you in louisiana... close to lake charles actually.. and i don't know anyone who is not a christian.. finding a freethinker/atheist/agnostic in this area is truely like finding a needle in a haystack

Thanks for responding back to me i have actually had a run in with a guy that most would not expect to be so mean and insensitive to someone like myself who would never hurt a fly. Everyone thinks he's a messiah and that is a big ol hint there.
