Working my way through "The Happiness Trap" by Russ Harris - Anyone want to join me?

A couple of months ago, I started working my way through The Happiness Trap by Russ Harris. It is centered around Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (AKA ACT), which is a completely different approach from anything I've tried so far. I was / am willing to suspend skepticism and actually give it a go. For whatever reason, every other approach I've tried has failed. It's time to try something different. And this time it will have to be without the aid of a therapist because I can't find one who is…See More

Greetings, Atheist in FundyLand! I notice you haven't been active at Atheist Nexus lately. <sigh> Sometimes it can seem a bit fragmented, with different groups for every interest. Please consider a group for socializing, where we talk about whatever's on our minds, Hang With Friends. :D You might feel more at home.

If you're lonely, send me a message! I like to talk and talk and talk. I followed your link to your blog and like it very much.

Sorry if I sound like a creeper, but the thought of someone being lonely always makes me sad.

Love your logo ;) I see we enjoy some some of the same things, like Brian Dalton (Mr Deity). If you are into podcasts, take a listen to Chariots of Iron and Atheist News - I think there is a lot there you can relate to.
