Should there be better promotion for men to have the HPV vaccine?
So, I teach a femist writing composition class and I did research and realized men actually can and should have the HPV vaccine...Especially, if he is gay, promiscuous or has a history of cancer in his family. Not to mention, men carry the virus. I read that as of December 2009, the FDA finally implemented that boys between 11-26 should be vaccinated. Why is it that way now? By the way, I'm 27, ooops... too late for me...

Locks is it a black thing or a human thing?

So, I am a locks wearing man. They are shoulder length. I love them and I can't get enough of them. However, with that said, they come with a cliche' or a stigma. With in my own African American culture they were feared because it was a revelation of the natural hair texture of African Americans. Furthermore, the hair is not combed and produces a "matted" appearance. Glad you replied.
The West is a big place - like talking about the East, although probably not as much variation as there is between, say, NY and Savannah. I tried several times to move West, mostly to either San Diego or San Francisco, but that wasn't my fate. When I finally did, it was to a college town in Oregon, then Portland, now suburb of Portland. I felt like I came "home", it was so "me". But we are all different.
You have a long life ahead, nothing wrong with trying different places and ideas. Eventually. I think most people find what suits them most.
It funny, I had a friend who moved from Malaysia to WA state. He has seen so many pictures of the Pacific NW, and thought it would all be lush Fir forests. No one told him that was only on the Western side of the state. He wound up in Pullman WA, in the high desert, about as not-lush as possible, and hundreds of miles from the Fir forests. BUt eventually he did find his way to what he wanted.
