I cannot imagine finally being able to marry my partner and then suddenly the government tells me that they are taking that away from me. Those people must be crushed.
Ya, I've never had a gay friend.
I came out at 16 and just suffered through all of the crap. Funny enough, I still have only had 2 boyfriends and I'm 27. I'm totally happy with my relationship now, but I think it's just weird for a kid to have only dated 2 people. The reason was because I was the only homosexual in my school (or they were closeted and I never knew).
We plan to move to Conneticut in a year or 2 (at the least) so that we can be married and be in a community that we can have friends.
Mostly for friends. We don't need "da man's" say so to be happy. :D Other than not having equal rights, life rocks :D
