- I’ve been a nonbeliever since age three when I was told to bow my head to pray and didn't quite "get it." : ) Should I be feeling, hearing seeing something? I've ultimately come to the conclusion that Christianity (religion in general) ultimately is the quintessential Ponzi scheme. Think about it…a God who will never reveal himself and expects you to pay/pray in for an ultimate reward. This is brilliant from a business perspective and tragic on a personal level. All that being said, I am a gentle soul and probably adhere to more Christian principles than the average churchgoer. I believe in second chances and that there is essential good in most people. I wake up happy and hopeful most days and look for joy and beauty in this journey we call life.
