This time I am in argument with my mother over "under god" being in the pledge and how we are disrespectful to our country for not saying it. I am going insane with people confusing patriotism with…Continue

I am leaning towards cremation because I don't even like visiting cemeteries (not because I fear death, I just have no interest in seeing a loved one's grave). Plus, what laws will be changed in a…Continue

Atheist Andrea has not received any gifts yet
Oh cute! I love your new avatar picture!
How are you and your beautiful family doing?
Joan Denoo said… Atheist Andrea, love your photos. Your children, with beautiful blue eyes next to your brown ones look so happy and healthy. I suspect the handsome man completes the family album. Thank you for your kind words. We shall have a great time discovering living.
Greg LeGore said… My wife and son and I are all atheists (as are our daughter and other son, but they are out of state). It is easy to feel along when society sends such strong signals that our way of life is not to be tolerated...gives me a lot more sympathy for other out-groups such as gays. My nephew is gay, finally openly - he lives in PA (much of which is way more conservative than NH) and lost some family relationships and friendships, though he gained so much more. And that's how I feel about me atheism except that, as have several other commenters, I haven't fully discusse this with my parents as they are not so far from death that they will change, and I don't want their last years spent worrying about my eternal damnation. Anyway, I think NH has a good many atheists or near atheists. Take care, Greg
Hey! I sure miss seeing your sweet comments on this site. It is sorely missed. I hope your new year has been a good one.
