"I think it's just more "proof" that god doesn't exist. Not one atheist has burst into flames nor been struck by lightning upon entering. I don't mind where I vote as long as it counts. I'd do it in an outhouse if I had…"
We debate origins of the Universe, life, Earth, humans, religion, atheism, using common sense, evolution, cosmology, geology, archaeology, and other sciences, to repel biblical creationism and other religious beliefs.
Greetings, Amy! I notice you haven't been active at Atheist Nexus since Dec. <sigh> Sometimes it can seem a bit fragmented, with different groups for every interest. Please consider a group for socializing, where we talk about whatever's on our minds, Hang With Friends. :D You might feel more at home.

Just received ISO this evening. I was already giggling by the copywrite page.
I am so sorry i didn't see this until now. Things have been a little crazy in my world lately. But thanks for the note. Many people completely miss the stuff put on the copyright page. ;^) Hope you enjoyed the rest of the book. I'm trying to finish up my magnum opus right now so it can be on Amazon for xmas. (Supernatural Hypocrisy: The Cognitive Dissonance of a God Cosmology--6 volumes!)
Keep in touch. I'll try to do better about keeping up here....
Hmm, sounds a lot like southerners. They do the same sort of thing, acting as if everything is fine, then saying all of the nasty stuff to everyone else. Fortunately, the Triangle is mostly full of transplants, now. The urban types around here at least have the decency to say things to your face, so you can possibly address the issue.
Actually, I kind of enjoy the protesters. We always get a small group, but they're always horribly outnumbered by the counter-protesters who turn the whole thing into a mockery. I don't know why the fundies even bother, but they always do.
Thanks for the friend request and your note: "After laughing at a review of one of your books (ISO), I broke down and bought it. If I like it half as much as your voice it will be money well spent."
The review by the girl who slammed the other reviewer? lol. Yeah that was a hoot. I responded via comment to the blah review.

Sorry you were disappointed in ISO. I can't expect to please everyone, but I do try. ISO was advertised as a "manual" (thus, the shorter length) for new and emerging lesbians, and the information many of them asked for in my research of that demographic. As I mentioned in the front matter, it was based on my own experiences and my own opinion stemming from those experiences. It was never intended as a neutral examination of the issues.
Having said that, I appreciate your honesty, as all feedback is helpful to an author.
May I send you one of my novels, instead? Maybe one of those might be something you'd like more?
Let me know your thoughts.

I never heard anything else from her. Oh well. So --hope you have a better opinion of it. ;^) Out of the currently 16 books published so far, I've been pretty fortunate that I've only has 2 mediocre reviews on my books. ANd both were instances of the person either not understanding the intent, or not understanding my "voice"--which is often drenched with sarcasm. Can't please everyone, as i said. but i do try.
My 16 books is about to quickly leap to 22...My 6 volume nonfiction book "Supernatural Hypocrisy: the Cognitive Dissonance of a God Cosmology" should be available by year's end. That project has been mind-numbing and I'm relieved it's almost done. Want to get back to novels.
Hello, Amy. Well said. I am never so happy when I am learning something new. Welcome to Atheist Nexus with its multitude of freethinkers who recognise that god is fictitious and religions are chiefly used to control impressionable superstitious people.
