"Now why would they give the impression that being an atheist is okay? Being atheist means you no longer believe in their fairytale, you're no longer playing "their game", so why be nice or respectful of you (an athiest)? Although I…"

Favorite quotes...

Believing there is no God gives me more room for belief in family, people, love, truth, beauty, sex, Jell-o, and all the other things I can prove and that make this life the best life I will ever have. – Penn Jillette

I refuse to believe in a god who is the primary cause of conflict in the world, preaches racism, sexism, homophobia, and ignorance, and then sends me to hell if I’m ‘bad’. – Mike Fuhrman

He that will not reason is a bigot; he that cannot reason is a fool; he that dares not reason is a slave. – William Drummond

I've lost much of my musical sense. I don't know why. I used to listen to a lot of classical. Now, other than a few selections, like Losing my Religion and some fun things like Black Eyed Peas, I mostly like some of the 60s/70s Soul or R&B. Makes me feel good. Al Green, Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye. I don't know much of anything about music today. Hope you have a good day. There are some interesting discussions on Nexus too. A ray of hope for reason and freethought. I will be in my yard / garden doing pruning and winter cleaning.

Alex, hang in there.  I know you dont think it gets better but it does.  Love your music selection, even though it's about loneliness - it's my favorite musical genre and Al Green is awesome  Im a long way past 28 but have been there too.  You wont always be alone.   Daniel.

Nathan Young That's true Jonathan Brown.  At one time I was a member of the MRA board when it was more open towards hearing an orthodox Mormon views on things.  Since that time the MRA is now under the stewardship of a new 'religion' the 'Society for Humanistic Mormonism' which is merely another apostate religion.  It will fail just like all other apostate forms of Mormonism have failed including might I add the Mormon "Transhumanist" Association and their kind, and all the front…

Hello fellow atheists!  I have joined this site in an attempt to find other rational individuals, such as myself, and to promote a current charity drive that I am trying to get going for the Oklahoma tornado victims.  I have managed to get many groups from around my area, including the Beyond Belief Foundation to back me on this endeavor.

I am located in Newnan, Ga and have my own atheist group entitled "Coweta County Atheists".  I am currently being backed by Spaulding Co.…
