Dear Alex, I'm the inactive Professors of Memology group with you.

Please note my blog, "Poo Fools (us all)," is a defense of memetics. I'd be happy to have your input, or even a "like", from a fellow memetics enthusiast.

Thanks for your attention.

Hey Alex,
I'd love a Homer Simpson ringtone that says, "I don't even believe in jeebus." If it has slightly more, that's ok, but I wouldn't mind if Homer said it at least twice. Once for shock value, and once for people who heard it to confirm what they just heard. My phone only rings for 16 seconds so it doesn't need to be any longer than that. Another ringtone that would be great for me and I'm sure for many others on here would be a George Carlin rant on religion. Anyways, thanks for doing this, I've wanted this as a ringtone for a long time...

I drove a semi for many years and have been through there more times than I can remember.. Stayed at the T/A truck stops up on I-10 and Millikin.. Fought the traffic on the 60 freeway many times.. Don't miss it a bit.. I retired last Feb. and live in a quiet little town halfway between Dallas and Houston...

I don't even TRY to mention souls. But that's an interesting take on it. I don't understand why people try to use fictional characters as an example. :/ What good does it do if you use something fictional? Then there's the, "You're not a believer, so your word means nothing!" stance that I get a lot. I'm pretty much burnt out on trying to convince people of my point.

Just 3 nicknames, though? I can outdo that! :P I think I have at least 10. I don't think I've been called my full name regularly for years!

(Also: Megadeth fffff!)

That's the spirit, dude! :D I like the way you think.

It was a few years back... one of their key arguments was, "Frankenstein came to life because he had a soul! Souls are REAL! You're stupid!" And I was quite confused. I thought Frankenstein was brought to life through electricity? I guess now lightbulbs have souls, too, seeing how they 'come to life' via electricity. XD

Oh, jeez. What a potshot! Maybe you got awesome superpowers from being dropped. They're jealous that you have the magical ability to be SMART! We'll call you... Smartacious Man!
At 9:32am on February 27, 2010, Rebecca Kudzinowski said…
I was mostly offended by their completely obvious topic change. Another guy said that my logic was flat and empty because of Frankenstein. Actually, most the arguments I get are either irrelevant, downright stupid or a bastard child of both.

I, for one, see no reason to be hatin' on implants, anyway. If it boosts your confidence, by all means, go right on ahead!
At 8:45pm on February 22, 2010, Rebecca Kudzinowski said…
Irrelevancy is a common argument. One person told me that my argument was invalid because my breasts were fake. I was like, "Who would perform breast implant surgery on a 14-year-old?" :P But still, they insisted!

tool is a very atheistic band, although they have a predilection towards south-east asian imagery and mysticism in some ways. Maynard James Keenan is/was pretty conflicted about his religious upbringing and it shines through in their music. Artistically though they are incomparable with any other band I've heard.
At 6:43am on February 4, 2010, Tom Thompson said…
Hey Alex, I don't see tool in your list of favorite bands. This seems like a grave omission. Please don't tell me it's intentional? :)

The reasons I suggest the Facebook are:
There are other atheists there already.
It will help our group here expand.
The more we understand that we are not "alone" the better off we'll be.

At a free thought convention I talked with a guy who had recently become an atheist. The guy needed support. Even his wife took the attitude that it was just a phase he was going through. They guy was in his 50s.
I know it's not much but it's something. And honestly, a "little" thing can go a long way.

Is there a Doctor on A|N that can tell me wtf is going on?

Posted on January 16, 2011 at 2:19pm 0 Comments

I'm not the best fighter nor have I had formal training but I've been: punched, kicked and chopped in almost every region of body, taken/given elbows and flying knees and have been hit in the back of the head with more objects than I can recall yet - I have NEVER been knocked unconcious by ANYONE for even 1 second. ...until last night that is when I saw something on TV that *I guess* was too much for me to handle.

LA Riots Over Lakers Win - WHAT THE F?!

Alright, this is bullshit... if your team WINS then why are you tearing up YOUR CITY? Call me crazy but in most places a joyous celebration usually doesn't turn violent.... does it?

Basically there are people IDIOTS running around, jumping on cars and toppling things while the usually trigger happy LAPD just sit back and let it happen. I can not begin to describe how big of a headache I have attempting to…

Hundreds of early human fossils, artifacts and forensically re-created faces of our prehistoric relatives have gone on display at the National Museum of Natural History, exploring 6 million years of evolution. The nearly $21 million Hall of Human Origins marks the 100th anniversary of the Smithsonian Institution museum and represents the most comprehensive look at human evolution since its…

First off, it would be rather iggnorant to think that in all the vast reaches the entire Universe that we Earth dwellers are alone and/or the highest form of life. My personal belifs are that there should be at least some other planet that is still sustaining life on it. If it happend here on Earth, why can't it happen elsewhere?

At Least 135,211 People Adknowledge Evolution

Just something I found interesting. Many people who can go online have a Facebook account so *if what most people say is true in anyway then* it's a pretty accurate site to create public polls that will have realistic results. This morning I came across a Facebook Group whose aim was "We Can Find 1,000,000 People Who DO Believe In Evolution Before June" thanks to a friend suggesting it to me.… Continue

All the Nordic countrys have flags that, when turned the right way - look like inverted crosses. Maybe it was a last "F-YOU!" to the crusaders from way back? Just thought it was kind of funny and mildly interesting.
