Proselytizing at Chick-fil-A

From: me
To: Chick-fil-A.Cares@na.ko.com
Subject: Chick-fil-A Web Form Message
I understand that Chick-fil-a is a business founded by and largely operated by Christians. This already annoyed me, due to the fact t

Nice prayer window sticker on the Chevy - would be hilariously ironic if it impeded their vision enough that they accidentally backed over, say, a small child. Or a kitten. I'd be much sadder about the kitten.

No, I didn't know about that group. Is it specifically centered around the book you mentioned, or just propaganda in general?

Sorry, I didn't notice your comment earlier, but I see that you've joined the group. It's not super active, but there are so many groups and so much to pay attention to. I would like to spend more time in it and explore the posts in greater detail.

Aiden, please consider joining my new group HERCULANEUM: A PLACE FOR MEN. Herculaneum is a group where men can discuss and explore the ideas, goals, demands, ethics, sexuality, and nature of manhood and masculinity. It is a place where we are free to be ourselves, and discuss the issues most important to our identities as men.

I have already started two discussions to get us going: How do we define manhood in the 21st century? and Rites of Passage: A Lost Ritual?.

This is a private group, and discussions can be viewed by members only. Membership is open to men only. Please check it out.

Or for would-be apostates: "Let's go down to the tropics to help clear your head..." then they drop you off with a local gang of drug-runners to make you "disappear".

My main ride is one of Sector 9's "Cloud 9" series, with Gullwing Sidewinder trucks and 61mm Sector 9 wheels. Occasionally, I'll swap out the wheels for my 72mm set. I'm not too picky on bearings, but I'll usually go with Redz or Lucky. I still kee…

So if people give other people money then that makes the claims credible? Did I say that? Or even imply it? No, I was implying that people should instead be giving their money to more credible lines of research, rather than a bottomless pit of pip…

Ha ha! It's an old Irish Pagan tradition originating from the Maori nose rub greeting - only we go one step further and pluck out the nostril hairs. It helps to build trust. ;-)

I used to eat a lot of free food cooked and served by the Krishnas. It sure beat anything I ever had at a Christian-sponsored soup kitchen.

I didn't watch it. I think they should scratch the game. In the past I found it fun to watch but it changed into an exhibition. Maybe they could have an all star weekend with skill tests and fan participation.

Free Thinker, I'm agnostic on the whole determinism/free will problem, so I'm not going to go out of my way to argue on behalf of determinist. I will say though that it's experiments like Libet's that we'd expect to be the case if determinism is tr…
