"Hilldale Baptist"

Here is the home of the fundies,

healthy development is far from mundane.

Oppression is free on Sundays,

Authoritarianism joyfully unconstrained.

Their doctrine is creation,

evolution – a chimera for the lame.

Evidence is truth imitation.

God Hates Faith

Posted on August 29, 2009 at 10:36am 0 Comments

The title of my first book is :

“God Hates Faith: The Absurdity of Faith-Based Morality“

Description:

Faith has motivated individuals to perform some, if not all, of the most horrendous acts in human history. Recently, there have been a lot of books that have argued that belief in a God is a destructive thing. This book sees things differently. This book assumes that it is, in fact, the concept of faith that is destructive and not a belief in God. The book… Continue

I ordered the first proof of my book yesterday. It would be here within a week or two. I will then proof read it for the 6th and final time and finish up the notes and references. I will then send it in get the final proof sent to me for approval. I am looking at the second or third week of September before the book become available on amazon, as well as createspace.com and target.com. It will then be another couple weeks before I get my national bookstore and international amazon (Canada, UK… Continue

Hey Aidan, thanks for the request. Talk sometime if you feel like it and get a chance. I do a whole thing about Samuel Johnson's mind resembling a vast amphitheater. In a fake British accent. Which actually is fairly cool. Also sometimes I like going "Écrasons l'ennemi réel!" too. But mostly I'm just from Indiana. So nobody cares. Which is fine. Seriously!

Thanks for the friend request. Your book sounds interesting. I'll try to check it out (bank account low - no commitments). Happy belated birthday and condolences about your father. I'm not on here near as often as I should be but I'm trying to do better. Wishing you beauty. Peace.

Congrats on your pending publication!! And SUPERB point. It may be that we Atheists spend way too much time stewing about the symptom (religions), when we should instead be focusing on illness (faith). Can't wait to read your book!

Come together one and all

Hello fellow atheists!  I have joined this site in an attempt to find other rational individuals, such as myself, and to promote a current charity drive that I am trying to get going for the Oklahoma tornado victims.  I have managed to get many groups from around my area, including the Beyond Belief Foundation to back me on this endeavor.

I am located in Newnan, Ga and have my own atheist group entitled "Coweta County Atheists".  I am currently being backed by Spaulding Co.…

Pope's 'exorcism' caught on film video

Posted by Debra Stevenson on May 21, 2013 at 2:37pm 0 Comments

There is a video of the Pope's 'exorcism' caught on film.  The man isn't demon possessed, there are likely no 'real' demons.  He's just delusional and doesn't want to accept personal responsiblity for his own behavior for his own dysfunctional life.

Do you support 'traditional' marriage, vot now ad

Posted by Debra Stevenson on May 21, 2013 at 2:28pm 2 Comments

There is an ad that reads ' Do you support 'traditional' marriage? Vote Now"!  .

No, I don't support 'traditional' marriage because there is no such thing. I support heterosexual and same-sex couples marry each other legally , yes.  'Traditional' marriage promoters largely do not believe that heterosexual women are co-equal to their husbands.  Their only purpose in 'traditional' marriage is to sexually satisfy their husbands if they can and raise children and do all…

i've got no problem with everyone saying "merry christmas" on christmas day.  however, they've turned it into an entire holiday season where it lasts a month or more.  in those situations it should be perfectly acceptable to say "happy holidays" or call it a…
