So homeschoolers can't explain electricity but they've seen the light. Oh good I'm already sleeping safer in my bed.

Indeed, Myers' comment brings a number of excellent points, perhaps the best of which is our own bodies' use of electricity to maintain life.

I guess what puts me off most of all is the determined and purposeful ignorance reflected in that page. If anything in this world truly frightens me, that does.
