SB, for the life of me, I can't understand why upon seeing him, you would be creeped out and reminded of evil.

They should really use images of the pope for Halloween masks.  He's really creepy.  You are probably not more rabid than I am about religion, and catholicism especially.  Don't ever calm down!

I guess I am more radical than you, Sentient, I think he is evil personified. Just look at his silly outfit, listen to his words given from that monster of a building he lives in (I wonder if he enjoys the comforts of home). Just read his pronouncements. Evil personified. It is easy to make fun of this particular pope, but even the sweet heart of John Paul II put his confidence in stories, unsupported by evidence. 
I am perfectly aware I am rabid about religion, but the wounds created deliberately by church dogma are still healing. Imagine at 76 years old and still dealing with childish, foolish, stupid, corrupt dogma! I'll calm down one day, but not yet. My fury is too delicious to let it go.

Every time I see him I just think, "evil".  He's only  human, so I don't know why I think that.  But something about the man, just makes the hairs on my neck stand on end.
