Yellow, in the left is goldenrod, a real bully. I took it out and planted it in a pot. The yellow is just stunning. I grow it now with Perovskia. The Blue Spruce on the right was 3 feet tall l when I planted it. The Alberta Spruce came out of a nursery garbage bin and was only about two feet tall. I have had problems with red spider mites, but think I have found the answer for controlling those little suckers.
