well where to began correation does not mean causation the removal of prayer in school does not mean it has lead to crime. poverty seems to lead more to crime. also in 'god we trust' was not put on our currency untill the civil war and the man who caused it to happen, the secretary of the treasery, was not liked by Lincoln. plus our fore fathers did believe in god it just was not the god of the bible. also Franklin i do believe was friends with Hume, a philosopher who is percieved as an atheist.

"You can believe in God any way you want (Baptist, Catholic, Methodist)"...I always love when people say something like "it doesn't matter what religion you are, what matters is your relationship with Jesus"...yeah, you're missing the point. And why would freedom of religion mean that you are required to have a religion? Then it's not really freedom. I don't know who this "majority" is, but even if it is a majority that wants atheists kicked out, so what? A majority in Pakistan supports apostasy execution. That doesn't mean it's right.

Publications usually like to print the most outrageous and ridiculous letters.
