When the day comes that I mind story-telling, I'm in trouble!

Or play the game called, "Grandma, tell me another story".

Joan, as it comes to games like the above, there's also the one that old people play on young people, which amounts to: "You-better-listen-to-me-because-I've-been-around-longer-and-know-more-than-you-do."  The above is a variation on that game, more like: "I know something you don't know, and if you don't know it, it'll kill you!"  Charming.

As to "secular games," my wife and kid and I used to play Rummy-O around the kitchen table now and again, but that's about it.

Are there any secular games? I have one that I played with my grandchildren as they grew up. It had to do with family memories. They loved it because the elders told wonderful stories and the kids listened with bright eyes and attentive ears.

Jeez! Just the sort of meme we want children and adults to play with. No Thanks!

Yeah ... don't it though?

That sounds like the basis for most of christian theology.
