They hired J. Michael Stracynski (sp), who did Babylon 5 to write an origin story, but last I heard, nothing more had come of it. Pity.

I haven't read the comics although I'd like to. I feel like superman, batman, spiderman, and the x-men get all the PR. There are a lot of really good characters that are frequently ignored. They did bring the Silver Surfer into the second installment of the fantastic four, but he needs his own origin story.

Norrin Radd. Cool! I don't know if you've read any of the comics, but he kinda turns into a messianic figure, particularily in the one off series from the early 2000's. Much more 3 dimensional than most characters.

Me too. The story behind him is what really gets me. Serving a god he doesn't agree with. Finally rejecting him and using the very power that this 'planet eater' granted him to defeat him. Plus the bald superheroes are few and far between.

I love the Silver Surfer!
