God hates fish

What happened to all the evil fish in the great flood? God’s still trying to smite them.

Worst. Omnipotence. Ever.

The fishies are actually not harmed if lightning strikes water.  Reason is

lightning stays more on the surface of the water rather than penetrating it. That's because water is a reasonably good conductor, and a good conductor keeps most of the current on the surface.

If fish were in a small area like a pond perhaps they could get fried, because the lightning energy has to go somewhere.

Maybe it's a bunch of lobsters and crabs being zapped, maybe a few shrimp and oysters and scallops as well -- all abominations, y'know. Then again a hypothetical "perfect creator" could've simply left out the abominations from the start!

I figured the fish did just fine in the flood. After all, they like water. Maybe he's zapping people out swimming.

Looks more like something Zeus would do, but why would he zap fish? Maybe not all of the fish died the first time in "the flood", but, who cares the story is fiction and so is Zeus and you know who.

I don't know about the philosophical point, but that image is awesome!  I wonder if it's real?  I suppose it is.  If so, absolutely amazing.
