Comment by Joan Denoo on February 25, 2013 at 11:23pm I find commercial TV is too timid, to wimpy to describe situations as they actually exist. They often mince words, dance around unpleasant news, try to put a shine on a dark cloud. I don't trust any of the TV news organizations and find too many errors in reporting.
Is the internet any better? No! but the newsletters to which I subscribe are not Polly Annas. Discernment is the issue. Pay attention. If I am wrong in my remarks, there are very many friends who challenge me to take another look. They often have better information or wiser analysis; whether I am right or wrong, I come out with a better researched and fact checked piece.
