That's still a good brain exercise. You'll give some neurons that haven't been used in a while a good workout. Practicality is why my mother pushed me into Spanish as a child. I'd like to try a harder one like Chinese or Arabic.
For similar reasons, I want to go back and re-learn Turkish. So different from day to day life for me now. A different way to express and learn. But not much practical use here in USA. Spanish is much more practical.
I've been wanting to get a set so I can actually practice. I'm not so used to hearing and decoding yet. I'm not sure why it interests me because we can certainly communicate a lot faster now, lol. Maybe I just have a leaning for the esoteric.
amazing that this alphabet was once how we communicated instantly.
