'The Rapture' is a relatively recent invention - and uniquely American; many here in the UK would say it is also characteristically so. There's nothing about it in the Bible. I suspect it is only thanks to the Internet that anyone, outside the US Bible belt, has even heard of it.
The Rapture! Hahaha!

This is ridiculous. If the Rapture has happened then the Bible must be true - which means we're all screwed and atheism is wrong.

I'm lost on the logic.

*come on... doesn't take THAT LONG to completely undress and die, right?*

For there to be a beast, there must first be the god that mirrors him! kind of silly that remark, considering that there are no dieties! (good or bad).

So, where can I get the mark of the beast?

Oh please! I WISH that there would be a rapture! Love this 'toon!

Did anyone see the rapture reference in an episode of "Six Feet Under"? some helium filled sex dolls escaped their tether in the back of a truck, causing a fundie christian woman to run her car into a bus as she could not take her worshipping eyes off the ascending sexbots interpreted as Christians heading home...

Is it wrong that this cartoon makes me want to play a huge prank involving empty clothes & running cars outside of a mega-church? Imagine all those mindlessly hooked people...

this makes no sense if the rapture happened wouldn't that prove the christian theories?
