Share 'Moving to Portland, Oregon: Areas to avoid?'

Hi folks, My wife and I are planning on moving from Medford, Oregon to Portland, Oregon soon (in the next few months), and I was wondering if someone familiar with the area could warn me of any heavily religious neighborhoods or areas that we should avoid so as to not be stuck in a neighborhood full of religious fanatics?
