I find the character interesting. The writers make him able to deduce more extraordinary conclusions from minute observations than previous incarnations.…Continue

I feel that Holmes has strong misanthropic tendencies. At times it is all that our hero can do to tolerate the people around him. I would go as far as to say that Holmes has some sociopathic…Continue

Hey - I like your new avatar.
Hello Friends,
I am currently watching the Disappearance of Lady Frances Carfax!
I went to see the new Holmes this weekend. It is good. I really liked the choice for Moriarty. Both movies are visually spectacular.

Howard is a good Holmes. The 50s television era has a certain charm to it in general.

Steph,
I did not get them yet, but I would love to have them. I have been watching the episodes on Netflix and sometimes they run old episodes on Public Television on Thursday evenings.
Steph,
Cool image from Baker Street. I like to study the objects around Holmes when I watch the episodes. The waterfall image over the mantle is an apparent connection to the falls where Moriarty is killed. I don't think that they talk about the image in the series however. :)
