Tanis was talking to Flint about coming face to face with Takhisis, and how he desperately wanted to worship her. Like he said, after all, she was a god. The Dark Queen.

I gaze upon your dark majestic beauty,

your countenance haunting, stark, aloof.

You sit upon your stygian throne, ruling

those that gaze upon you.

Approaching, kneeling to worship, I surrender my fate

as I proffer a single white rose. It pales, overshadowed

by your alabaster skin.Its smell cloying, treacly, fecund

by your silence.

I breathe deeply. In the gathering gloom, corrupt desires

ignite within my breast. I rest within the entropic embrace

of my Dark Queen. Sweet pain burns my through my viens,

my journey complete. Never to know peace again.

Lying in the shadow of la petit mort. The momentarliy breached walls that seperate us rising again, the afterimage fading.

Smiling, we repeat platitudes, lies we tell to stave off the terror filled moments alone, until we again try to breach the wall, and ride to the edge of eternity.
