I am not at all knowledgeable about such things, but why do Eagles not see children as prey?

Comment by Steph S. on December 20, 2012 at 11:37am

Yes, I would not of believed that one. Eagles do not see children as prey.

It appears the Eagle snatching child was a fake:   http://news.discovery.com/animals/baby-snatching-eagle-video-goes-v...

Interesting picture Melinda.  That squirrel doesn't seem to be bothered by the birds at all.

I've seen more colorful birds on this site that I thought existed, and so many interesting poses and actions.  Photoshop is a good program, but it's frustrating trying to decide what is real anymore.

Oh I know Ruth, that's why I put a question mark after the word sharing. lol.  That guy does NOT want the birds to have any, but it's such a cute picture. :)

Tony, these pictures are gorgeous!  I don't think that one looks photoshopped.

Hey Tony!
Wow Stunning beauty of a bird!
I'll see if I can look it up in my field guide or online.

Steph, or anyone. What kind of bird is this? Stunning.

Comment by Ruth Anthony-Gardner on December 18, 2012 at 10:36pm

I disagree, booklover. The starlings are trying to horn in and squirrel isn't sharing.

Comment by Steph S. on December 18, 2012 at 10:26pm

oh wow!! Such wonderful pictures. Thank you!!

Booklover - I love the mammal sharing with the birds.

Tony - I don't think that is Photoshopped.

Tony - I love the owl with the wings outstretched and the sea birds photo. Need to get my field guide to identify.
