I've tried several more times to spot a hummingbird at the trumpet vine, but no luck.  However, I did see a rainbow this morning as the thunderstorm started.  By the time I retrieved my camera from the basement, the rainbow was gone, but I did capture this bird.  It's one I haven't seen in probably 30 years.

Hey Joan! Yes Cedar Waxwings are in my area and I saw them during winter migration. They are the most beautiful birds! (One of the most)

Steph, I had no idea Cedar Waxwings are so lovely. Are they in your area? 

Tony, your glass frog and Andean Cock-of-the Rock are most intriguing and exotic. What a wonderful diversity of living forms.
