Comment by Tony Carroll on November 12, 2012 at 9:44pm Hey Steph. Yeah, it's a great site to visit. Showing all kind of birds from the Amazon basin. And dinner or a picnic would not be the same if you weren't there!
Never made chains from clovers, but sucked on honeysuckle flowers as a kid, too.
Comment by Tony Carroll on November 12, 2012 at 9:37pm Bacon. I'm with you there, Dallas. Bacon IS one of the four major food groups, don'tcha know. Along with beer, cheese, and chocolate.
Melinda, we used clovers too. Also, don't know why this reminded me of it, but we used to suck on the honeysuckle flowers. Not much nectar, if any, but they sure were sweet.
I like pistachio salad, too. Totally crappy junk food. Artificial everything. But I still like it.
I went to a party once and someone made something like a deviled egg wrapped in crisp bacon. It was like a mouthgasm.
Comment by booklover on November 12, 2012 at 9:29pm Love deviled eggs. Also, pistachio (fluff) salad. Real American Picnic food. lol
