Comment by Joan Denoo on March 28, 2012 at 10:51am Now I understand! Makes good sense! Oh! I like this concept and the group is outstanding! We shall gain great skills and insights, ideas, etc.
Comment by Richard ∑wald on March 28, 2012 at 11:02am Always check to see if there are comments allowed, before posting here.
Stories/sites/pages without comments are not useful for the purpose of this group.
Comment by Hiram on March 28, 2012 at 3:28pm http://www.beliefnet.com/ was absolutely silent on the REASON RALLY, which one would think would be relevant to them considering that they cover national religion trends, and that their online communities are diverse and all-inclusive. I sent the editor an email requesting that they cover it and questioning their blackout, but it would be nice if other secularists also wrote and claimed more visibility for humanist / secularist news on beliefnet.
Comment by Tony Carroll on March 28, 2012 at 7:48pm Thanks for the clarification, Richard. I'm one of those who aren't as media savvy as others. Any tutorial will be readily ingested and ready for regugitation. Thanks in advance.
Comment by Richard ∑wald on March 30, 2012 at 3:07pm Updated the information section with first draft of Guidelines for the group.
Comment by Richard ∑wald on March 30, 2012 at 4:50pm This one's just new (scroll down to "Arrested for not Praying), so no news media stories yet, but when/if it hits the press, we should atheist bomb the shit out of it.
Comment by Tony Carroll on March 30, 2012 at 4:57pm Just keep me posted, brother. I will start trolling media sites. If found, will so inform.
Comment by Richard ∑wald on March 30, 2012 at 8:33pm I updated the blog, more info and links. email addresses of the assholes involved coming soon.

There is a video of the Pope's 'exorcism' caught on film. The man isn't demon possessed, there are likely no 'real' demons. He's just delusional and doesn't want to accept personal responsiblity for his own behavior for his own dysfunctional life.

There is an ad that reads ' Do you support 'traditional' marriage? Vote Now"! .
No, I don't support 'traditional' marriage because there is no such thing. I support heterosexual and same-sex couples marry each other legally , yes. 'Traditional' marriage promoters largely do not believe that heterosexual women are co-equal to their husbands. Their only purpose in 'traditional' marriage is to sexually satisfy their husbands if they can and raise children and do all…

i've got no problem with everyone saying "merry christmas" on christmas day. however, they've turned it into an entire holiday season where it lasts a month or more. in those situations it should be perfectly acceptable to say "happy holidays" or call it a…

I posted the bulk of this on another thread, but wanted to add some context separately.
I finally confronted my faith and embraced the fact of my atheism late last August, 2012. Days after I revealed my "epiphany" to a few friends who knew me from another message board, my sister died from Lou Gehrig's Disease (which pissed her off because she hated catching a disease from someone she never f---ed).
THAT was my sister, understand? She was a beautiful, life-loving, potty-mouthed…
